Staid offers a powerful note-taking and annotation feature that helps you create, organize, and edit notes based on the captured text from images and PDFs. This chapter will guide you through the process of using Staid's notes and annotations feature effectively.
Open the document you want to create a note for.
Tap the "Notes" button located near the document title.
You will be taken to the notes section where you can create, edit, and view your notes.
Tap the "New Note" button to create a new note.
Enter the note's title and content, then tap "Save" to save the note.
To edit an existing note, go to the notes section for the respective document.
Tap on the note you want to edit.
Make the desired changes to the note's title or content.
Tap "Save" to confirm the changes.
Open the document you want to annotate.
Select the text you want to annotate by tapping and holding on it.
A menu will appear, giving you the option to "Add Annotation."
Tap "Add Annotation" and enter your annotation in the provided field.
Tap "Save" to add the annotation to the selected text.
Annotations are displayed as highlighted text within the document.
To view an annotation, simply tap on the highlighted text.
The annotation will appear in a pop-up window, allowing you to read or edit it.
To delete a note, go to the notes section and tap on the note you want to delete.
Tap the "Delete" button and confirm the action by tapping "Yes, Delete" in the prompt.
To delete an annotation, tap on the highlighted text with the annotation.
Tap the "Delete" button in the annotation pop-up window and confirm the action.
